About Defar is USA born and the alpha of the pack. Defar has civil aggression. What this means is if you inflict pain on her, or her family, she will be called to action. She is relaxed and social in all environments because she was conditioned to be tolerant of strangers touching and approaching her. This is a trait we specifically look for in a working guardian breed. She can be handled by a child at an AKC or UKC sporting event, touched all over by a new judge, but will act if her people are pushed or poked. She has low prey drive, solid environmental nerve, territorial & possessive tendencies for maintaining the property line, suspicion toward outsiders, hunts based on perception of threat/possession over prey drive, food motivated, handler soft, intelligent (for the breed) and can master any novice task she has been exposed to within one to two tries. She has rear dew claws (which we prefer), flying nun ears, reverse scissor bite, and a longer muzzle. She is resilient and hardy with injuries from working, and can continue the task even if she has an exposed wound until we get back to the house.

Her second litter was 11.12.2023 - FIGHT AND MAKE UP LITTER

I keep going back and forth on breeding Defar a 3rd time, but at this time she is considered retired from breeding. She will stay working and a family member in my home.
